Gatewood PTA is a registered, non-profit 501(c) (3) organization set up to support Gatewood Elementary. All donations to the PTA are tax deductible to the extent allowable by law.

Each year the PTA raises money to fund a large project as agreed upon with the Gatewood principal (often a teacher’s salary to retain small class size.)  In past years, the money has also supported or purchased field trips, library books, book distributions to students, musical instruments, the Science Center Van, the Gonzo Newspaper, Operation Imagination (the playground project) and community-building events. 

Many employers will match donations to charitable organizations. Direct Donation forms are available on the PTA table outside the school office or downloadable below.

Please consider making a direct donation to Gatewood PTA. You can now make a tax-deductible donation to the Gatewood PTA using a PayPal account or credit card. You do not need a PayPal account to donate this way. There is a fee of 2.2% plus 30 cents on each donation via PayPal or credit card.  (Fill out a direct donation form as well and return to the school office for record keeping.)  To make a PayPal or credit card payment click here and follow the PayPal instructions.
