Team Information

Gatewood Teams

Gatewood is a multi-age school, teaching in three grade bands: Kindergarten/1st grade, 2nd/3rd grade and 4th/5th grade. Teaming and multi-age teaching allows us to teach to each student at his or her developmental level. It also allows students to stay with the same team of 2 or 3 teachers for two years. Gatewood also prioritizes resources to maintain small class size.

The teachers and teams are as follows:

Kindergarten/1st Grade

Nancy Carney & Charlene Higuchi

Carolyn Sterns & David Kipnis

Donna Schwendeman, Mason Skeffington & Cat Picardal

2nd/3rd Grade
